Malawi, Africa - Service Learning ExperienceIn the Summer of 2018 twelve other students and I had the opportunity of a life time to participate in a "service learning" study abroad class through UofSC to Malawi, Africa. While there, we each worked on our own projects while also volunteering in places such as crisis nurseries, medical clinics, hospitals and more. The images to the right document my time there, but to see more you can view video project on the trip by clicking the button below.
Published Africa PiecesAlong with my photos and video, my partner and I had an article posted in several places. An article was written on me as well. They can be viewed respectively by clicking the buttons to the right.

Jeremy MillerJeremy Miller is a drag performer stationed in Columbia, South Carolina. Spring of 2018 I got the chance to dig deeper into both his personal life and stage life to see the contrast of the two. The spread for this photo documentary was published on the wall of U of SC's School of Journalism and Mass Communications and Journalism where it remains to this day.

Theo Santos Human Interest PieceTo the right is one of my favorite human interest pieces I have done. In college, I have contributed to our school magazine, Garnet and Black, in which this piece of mine was featured in the 2016 Winter edition. As a contributor, I will take on more pieces for Garnet and Black in the near future. You can view each photo individually by clicking the gallery to the right. The button below will take you to the website in which my photos were published along with the article.

PortraitsAs a photographer, one of my favorite photography styles is portraits. Portraits allow me to get to know my subject, which I enjoy. You truly capture someones "good side" once they open up and feel comfortable with you. They'll forget the camera is even there. To view each photo separately, just select the gallery to the left.

SportsMy most recent sports pieces come from my high school work senior year of high school. I traveled with the football players, cheerleaders, and hockey teams working as the photographer. Although I was not a part of the school yearbook staff, many of my photos were picked up and used in several sports spreads of the yearbook.
